History
Family orientated business for three generations. Started up in the 1940s by
Master stonemason in Switzerland following the great demand and need
of quality, reliable builders and carpenters. The Family business has been passed down for two generations and in 1983 a change in direction. Started up with primarily carpentry and joinery with the late addition of roofing and insulations sector to offer
a full range of services. Stone masonry services have been stopped due to change in the market demands and family business interest.
In the mid 2004 the Swiss business has been leased as a 5-year trial and part of the family ventured and moved to Scotland where we offered the very first services in the Ross Shire area as partners for different Builders in the local Inverness and Black Isle area providing carpentry, joinery and roofing services. Since 2019 and when passed down to the current third generation we changed from Private family run business into Ltd. Our Company office is now based in Easter Kinkell in the Black Isle, and we have our centralized deposit with timber processing facility and storage in Dingwall. With these areas of presence we are very centralized and serving mainly Ross shire area, but we can easily cover the UK and abroad with our vast connections and Swiss contacts.

As ancient Carpenter traditions wants we have been travelling and left our marks in many areas of Europe and North America, this to extend and learn more knowledge and skills of our ancient art. Our love of the craft stems from an intense satisfaction of turning conception, ideas, wishes and lines on a piece of paper into reality.
Our way to express to the people of the Highlands, but not only to them, the beauty of handcrafted pieces and also the beauty of using wood as a main material for constructions.
